Story & Metaphor

Convey a message with a guiding story or metaphor.

Enter your loved one's name. This helps personalize the sermon by name.
Your relationship to them (father, friend, sister, etc.). We can use this to adjust tone (a funeral for a parent vs. a friend might differ).
Qualities you cherish (kindness, humor, devotion…). A short list of adjectives or characteristics that defined the person, to celebrate their life.
Share a story, metaphor, or theme you’d like to use throughout the sermon. This could be a specific anecdote (like “the time he rescued a stray dog, which shows his compassion”) or a metaphor (“She was an avid gardener, maybe use gardening as a theme for how she nurtured others”). If you don't have one in mind, simply describe something like the person’s hobby or passion.
Any verse or quote that fits this story or theme (optional). e.g. If using a gardening metaphor, maybe a verse about sowing and reaping, etc.
